Providence New Year’s Eve Celebration
The winter fairy will be joining Starts at Sunset, Sunday December 31st, 7:00pm to 8:30pm, for a New Year’s Eve celebration on the Michael S. Van Leesten Memorial Pedestrian Bridge in Providence RI. WaterFire is excited to be working with the Providence Tourism Council once again to bring back a special Starts at Sunset activation on the 29th anniversary of WaterFire’s first lighting in Providence. WaterFire's Holiday Celebration
The winter fairy will be strolling through WaterFire’s Holiday Celebration, Saturday December 2nd, 5:30pm to 8:30pm, at Waterplace Park in Providence RI. The event will feature a fully illuminated 15-foot Christmas Tree donated by Stanley Tree Service Inc., local artists and makers, and a special appearance by Santa on a WaterFire boat and opportunities for photos in Santa’s Village. This unique activation invites artists and observers to experience a night of immersive placemaking with living tableaus set against the backdrop of a picturesque sunset. 401Gives Celebration : WaterFire Providence
Join pearl at a special pre-season partial lighting in Memorial Park on Saturday, April 1, 2023, sponsored by United Way of Rhode Island in celebration of their annual 401Gives campaign. The lighting will begin after sunset (7:10 p.m.) and the braziers will remain lit until 9:30 p.m. Pearl will be near the College Street bridge, 7:00pm-9:00pm.
